Waiting is the hardest part......

I have 129 days until my DCL and can't wait! I am on these boards daily and sometimes several times a day. I see people with countdowns of over 300 days and I wonder how they are doing waiting for their trip. How do you do it??? I do have to admit that I am addicted to Disney. Maybe we should have a support group on this site.

When we booked our 10 day cruise for this December we started with counting down from 537 days!

We had a trip to WDW in December and another one coming up in 3 weeks so that helps break up the time.

We've got a great group going on our cruise and we've been chatting since way back in June. It really helps pass the time.
We've done a newsletter with monthly updates and have exchanged photos as well. It has helped us all get to know each other and in December when we cruise we'll be cruising with lots of new friends!

We have a DW trip coming up soon! That helps, but I am not as excited about DW as I am going on a cruise again!!

Now that I have cruised, that is all I want to do!!

It looks bad,but the boards make me happy and it is fun to plan my trip....
I am probably going to fit in a trip to WDW this next Spring with my Cousin and so that will help out.....

Plus I have a girl trip on RCCL in Jan....So I do have other things before our cruise on the Magic to keep me busy.

It is tough!! I am just happy that I am going again and this time for 7 days!!!!

Honestly I would rather cruise than go to WDW. I want to take DD for her Birthday next April,but am considering a short 3 day Wonder instead....It leaves on her Birthday???

My family thinks I am crazy!!

Hi! My name is Dominick and I am a Disney addicted. I quess I have been all my life but have, in recent years, come to acknowledge it. I am afraid that I have passed the addiction to my two daughters (36/32). One has just become a DVCer with two Disney cruises under her belt. My second cruise will be in February-Eastern. In order to over come my Disney fix, I had to book a week for this upcoming Thanksgiving and this is not enough. I am trying to "worm" my way into a short August stay.
If it wasn't for these boards I would be totally lost-God Help me!!!

I think the hardest part will be getting off the ship. We don't have much time to go and I'm getting sad!

I am also an addict. How do I know, well, I've learned to do alot of technological things while on this board. Things I've never thought I would do ie. cut and paste.

My dh laughs at me too!

I was on the phone linking for dinner and requesting a certain rotation. I simply told the cm, PLA and she had no idea what I meant. So, I apologized and repeated the actual names.

Well, dh can hear this and is laughing. He's saying things like
"Speak English" He also said the cm probably got off the phone and said to another cm,

"I just got one of those crazy people from that internet board".

I'm one of the those with a counter at 300+!

Whenever my kids say "I can't wait for...", I remind them that the anticipation is often as much fun as the actual event. I don't really believe that, just feel compelled to say it - sounds like the right parent thing to say.

In the case of the DCL, it certainly is not true - while the anticipation and the excitement is fun, it is no where near the thrill of setting foot on that ship. We booked on board in March for a Feb 05 Western - that was the only thing that gave us the strength to make it through the pain of having to disembark!

I can proudly admit that I too am addicted to these boards. I know I am repeating myself but although my DH thinks that it may be hopeless he is always happy when the vacation goes of without a hitch and we are orgainized. (for vacation anyway - everyday life is another story - why? I think it may be because I am constantly checking out these boards. I love these boards and have given me so many hints and ideas. Keep them coming- I need my DCL fix more than my chocolate or coffee fix - that is scary!

The waiting to go is extremely hard. This will be our 6th and it gets worse every time. The boards do offer memories as well as new information about the cruise. I am on here at least every other day to read what is new.
