Waiting is soooo hard! 110 days to go!

Wow 8 years he'll realise why you've been talking about it so much when he gets there!! YC looks lovely, would love to stay at a resort better than a value but it puts the cost up so much we cannot warrant it, as we literally only sleep and shower there, we never go back during the day unless we have been to a water park and then its only to shower and go straight back out! We only used the pool once out of the 2 weeks we were there last time to, so really couldn't spend any more money on somewhere we hardly see! But they do look amazing for sure

Seen as I haven't been for so long and DBF has never been we thought we'd push the boat out! (Plus my ex wouldn't let me stay at YC lol). I'm hoping to spend a fair bit of time at the resort probably most afternoons to make the most of SAB. If he gets the Disney bug and we go back we'll probably stay at OKW if they still have those offers, my mum wants to come next time and she hasn't been for 17years!!!

DBF said to me yesterday that he can't wait till we've been so I stop talking about it! Ouch! I'm sure when he's there he'll love it but I don't think he really knows what to expect. I'm so excited because I know how good it is and I've always wanted to stay at YC and loads will have changed because I haven't been for 8 years :)

That sounds a lot like my story! We go for honeymoon in July, but my fiancé has never been before...last time I went was 8 years ago!!! He also keeps telling me to shush...but I know he'll love it!!! :D

My first adult trip was my honeymoon and it was 14 years since I had been. DH had never been before and I was not sure what to expect. Going as an adult I was worried DH would think it was childish.
Glad I did not know about ADRs etc for that trip as he did not feel forced into having to be places.
Overall it was an amazing holiday and his face the first time we went to MK was priceless. After his first ride on star tours he was hooked.
Trip 6 this year and he is already looking at next year.
I hope all you honeymoon couples have a fantastic time. :)

Sarah that's funny! And Starrysky I think that's why he's getting fed up because I'm organising everything and I've booked our ADRs, when we go on holiday in Europe we are so laid back. He says he's looking forward to the waterparks so I guess that's something!

Honeymooners.

When we wed DH wanted a Caribbean holiday and I wanted WDW. So we did both the same trip.

We have never been back to the Caribbean but have been to Disney World numerous times ;)

We are not honeymooners but the lady on the phone when I requested wedding gazebo view at YC was asking if I was trying to drop hints to DBF, I said it's got to be worth a try! Haha.

Yes I think for those that have never been it all makes little to no sense. I'm sure once you get there he will forget about all the planning etc and just have a great time.
Now we have been DH appreciates all the effort that now goes into planning for our holidays.

I just have to keep reading these boards and posting on here, at least disers understand! I'm just worried about getting back and feeling depressed that it's over and no more planning! Yuck!

I hate that feeling to :-( but I think this time it won't be a 3 year gap like it has been every other time we've been to WDW, but hey on of the best things is having all them amazing memories to look back on! Every time I get the Disney blues I just look back at the pictures and videos and think Wow we had the best time, makes me smile :-)

I don't know when I'll be able to book another one but it will be a few years. I'll probably make a scrap book when we get back. This will be my 4th Disney trip, I went when I was 9, 14, 22 and now 30 so all big gaps! But if DBF loves it maybe my countdown won't be too big next time!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that he loves it and wants to go back soon, me and my partner have plans for a baby after our holiday this year but are still looking at holidays for next year but then end of next year so of we have a baby in tow we will just have to change some plans :-)

That's exciting! Planning for babies first Disney trip! My friends are all having babies but we're not ready yet, my mum wants grandchildren though so we can all go to Florida together!

Haha, my mum was the same! After we got married it was the question that got asked almost every week lol!

Don't do it, they cost far too much :rotfl2:
The Guardian estimate it costs £222000 to raise a child to 21, I don't think I would be far out if I doubled that figure, no idea how people afford more than one.

Yep my mum too, she keeps saying she'll be too old soon to enjoy having grandchildren lol

I bet it is, I'd love to have a baby the pictures would be so cute to! And the memories for us would last a life time, my mums desperate for me to have a baby! Been on my case for a while, and my fellas mum to. I'm like we are not even engaged yet haha! Nor married, but we cannot really afford a wedding, there are more important things :-), we have been speaking about starting a family together though and just see what happens so, who knows this time next year my life could be very close to changing :-) and a whole new chapter starting :-)

Like all the comments about babies! Haha! I agree Wayne if I had children how would I afford all my holidays! I just tell my mum that we will when I'm older and she replies saying that I'm 30! Oh well.

Just realised in my first post I said babies instead of baby's didn't mean to imply you'll end up having twins or maybe even triplets! Haha!!!

Everyone thinks we will end up with twins, as we have twins on both sides of the family, that really would be hard work lol
