Wait list came through and I didn't know about it

I called MS this morning to check on my waitlist for a studio on New Year's Eve at the BCV. I had it on automatic booking if it came through. Well it did! Only trouble is that it came through back on July 16th. While I'm glad it came through, I can't believe that I waitied 3 months to find out. The CM who was helping me couldn't believe that we didn't get something in the mail.

So for those of you on a waitlist, I would suggest that you call and check. Maybe you will find out good news like me.

And remember - the postal service is the third party in this so it's not necessarily DVC's lack of sending a notice. Our mail sometimes gets delivered to one of three other "105" addresses in our neighborhood and we are at their mercy to either drop it off or give it back to the mail carrier.

I am waitlisted for November 7-15 at either BCV or BWV. I just called them yesterday, but unfortunately, no luck yet.

It was actually for a second room for my SIL and her dd. We already have a 2BR reserved for our family of six and were just going to have her move in with us on New Year's Eve. So it wasn't like I was overly worried.

And remember - the postal service is the third party

Believe me I know that. That's why I didn't say anything negative about MS in my post. As a matter of fact, we were originally waitlisted for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. I received a confirmation in the mail on the January 1st reservation about one week before the other one came through.
