Wait for CRV or Take SSR Promotion???

I have 325, so I can see adding one more time of no more than 175 points. I have a Dec UY so this current promotion with SSR seems very good. I doubt my points would appreciate enough to unload and breakeven if I wanted to sell and get into CRV (if that happens in the next 2 years).

Take the offer or wait for CRV???

CRV points tomorrow (meaning in the future) are going to cost a heck of a lot more than SSR points today. So you will save a good deal of money by taking the SSR incentive.

The issue is all about home resort advantage. Do you usually plan and book using the 11-month window? Doyou travel during peak times? Will you be devastated if you try to get CRV at 7 months and can't? If you answered yes to these questions, you may want to wait for CRV.

Isn't there also a great deal at AKV? I aslo think that CRV points will be in the $110-115 pp range and are probably 2 years out. If you add at SSR or AKV now, you get two more years of vacations with your new points.
