WAHHHH! We lost our Maclaren at Disney!!!

I really hope Lost and Found comes through!!! We attended the Polynesian Luau on 5/24 - (the early show) and parked our stroller in the designated area. When we left, we scooted out a side entrance that led to the beach. Our daughter was having such a great time running through the sand on the beach that we totally spaced out and forgot to go get our stroller!! We were staying at the Poly, so we just walked back to our room! It wasn't until the next morning that I realized that we didn't have it!! We were checking out that day so we ran down to the luau AND checked with Lost and Found. Nothing. I called Poly lost and found this morning, and still nothing. I really hope that it is just tucked away somewhere and will turn up in the next couple days or so. I will be really disappointed if someone decided they'd like to have a brand new Maclaren for free...........

Anyway, I guess the moral of my story is to make sure you have ID attached to your stroller, just to make the return from an honest person a little easier.

I'm so sorry! Keep trying, though... sometimes lost and found items move around a bit until they end up where they are supposed to be. Good luck! What model was it?

Keep calling lost and found everyday. Last June my husband left our camera and camcorder on either a bus or a monorail right before we were ready to fly out. A few days after we got home, lost and found had it. I think it goes through a few different hands before it gets to the main lost and found. Hope you get it back!! It makes for a bad ending to a great trip.

Here is another idea for tagging the stroller. In additionto the luggage tag, put an address label or P-Touch label on the frame, it is a bit more obscure and will help if the luggage tag falls off.

Thanks for your sympathy....... Jen D - it was just the basic 2005 Volo model ($100).....but we bought it right before the trip specifically FOR the trip!!!!! Oh well, I guess I will keep trying to call Lost and found!

Good luck. I'm guessing someone took it though if it hasn't shown up by now. (Had someone steal my camera 2 years ago at Epcot.) I hope you can get it back.

Any update? Did you hear anything from Lost and Found yet? I really hope you get it back. As great as Maclarens are, they are expensive.

People will steal anything. Someone stole our clothes the last WDW FW vacation. Not just a shirt, a whole bag! Lot's of new stuff! On the bright side I didn't have much laundry to do when we got home.

Since you accidentally left it overnight I tend to think it's wrapped up in the lost and found process rather than someone stole it - not to knock you for leaving it overnight - it sounds like something I would do Good luck getting it back.

Because the CM's have to constantlly stroller manage (moving strollers to the correct area) I'm pretty sure that they don't let you use a lock.

I think you can somehow lock them so the cms can still move (wheel) them but they can't be folded up. It's been mentioned a few times here on the families board. I check the stroller threads a lot, can you tell?
