i can't find a nutrional or anything for points for Waffle House? yes, we went after church and i figured i'm pretty much done eating today :guilty: but it was good -- i had a pecan waffle if anyone has any idea of it's points? i'm figuring 10???

Molli, I don't think you're allowed to put "Waffle House" and "Weight Watchers" in the same sentence. :teeth:

You could start by looking up waffle points for Denny's (the most similar thing that comes to mind) on DWLZ... She shows a Belgian Waffle as 8 points. Then add from there.

Cheesecake Factory too. Don't go there either. We did...only meal o the day. Mmmm back on Molli n me!
:teeth:
Sorry I can't help ya on the points thing.

Oooh yikes- check out this link at calorie king.

This is at O'Charley's Restaurant- Pecan Waffle with Syrup 1 serving:
1251 Calories, 53 fat grams and 5 fiber. Using my Palm Program I get 29.3 points - rounded to 30 points.

I'm not sure if you ate with syrup or not, and how big it was. 30 points sounds stiff and without seeing the O'Charlies its hard to say. I don't see a picture of it on the O'Charley's web site either. I also checked the points I had for IHOP and I couldn't come up with anything. Maybe break it down.

Approx on these- write them down and then move on. It's the only way I keep myself sane when I can't figure out the points for something.
How many pecans do you think were in it? count points for that.
How much oil used?
Waffle- My book says 1 7"sq = 5 points. So guage using the size.
Syrup - how much you used? Regular or maple 1Tbsp= 1 point

I hope this helps.

30 points ???? !!!!! Ouch! I laughed when I saw your post about Waffle House. We don't have them here, and if it weren't for the smoking in them, we'd stop by every trip. :teeth: I still laugh about the time I ordered grits and she put the bowl in front of me and the waitress says "did ya want some EXTRA butter with those?" There was already a pool of butter floating all over the top of the bowl. Gross!

Don't spend anymore time trying to figure this one out. I'd count it as 15 or 20 and just move on from there.

MaryLiz~ I don't want to tempt you, but if you are talking about Waffle Houses in Florida, there is no smoking in any Florida restaurants any more.

We drove by a Waffle House tonight and I wanted to go get a pecan waffle, just so I could see what 30 points looked like!!!!!!

thanks you all -- and yes I took MaryLiz's advice and just moved on :)

mel -- it was good - a moderate size, not huge and way too much and I barely touched it with butter and syrup -- but it's done :)

onward and downward and no more Waffle House in March!

Christy ... thanks for the info! I guess I can add that to my list of must do's for my October trip! Our city went non-smoking in bars and restaurants over a year ago, and it's so wonderful! I just love it.
