I use my digital camera that has a video too, then if I want I can switch them without carrying around two things!

If you have both cameras, I video with one hand, and have the still around my neck for snapshots. Sometimes, if my location allows, I prop the camera bag up on top of the stroller and balance the video on that.

We took a family trip in 2000. My father used a videocamera and I used a regular camera.

I got a series of shots of my nephews on the boat from Epcot to the Dolphin. I framed them and have had them on my wall, where I enjoy looking at them, ever since.

I watched my father's video once. It was boring.

I vote camera.

I did double duty once, and my arms were tired. I vote camera, it's lighter to carry around the parks and you use that more than the video camera. Last year I did buy a disposable video camera at CVS, it was the size of a regular digital camera, cost about $30. It took either 30 or 60 minutes of video. I did manage to film my DS in Jedi training and snap photos with the digital camera at the same time without too much trouble. Then you return the camera to CVS and they process it and make a DVD for you at a small fee.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I am leaning towards using just a camera. I need a new one so I would like to upgrade to a new SLR camera!
Now just to find a good one on sale!!
