Hi Gang,
This is our first time staying at the VWL, and are staying in a studio. Can any one suggest which view or room to request. Does anyone have a favorite they think would be good. Thanks for any help.:earsboy:

I'd start off with asking for smoking or non-smoking, whichever you prefer.

Then it's personal preference from there. Some like to be near the elevator. Some like to be up high. Some have indicated that they like to be up high on the back side near the pool with a little view of Bay Lake. That's what we requested for our 1BR.

There is no specific "view" to request....all rooms are rated the same unlike WL resort which has "standard view", "woods view", "pool view", etc. with various rates.

Last year we had a studio on the second floor and it faced toward the road. It was far enough down from the road that it was away from the bus stop and looked out onto the wooded area. One afternoon I was sitting on the balcony and saw a deer. That was pretty cool! If you get this side of the hall, keep your eyes open. You don't know what you'll see!!
I do agree with "Granny" to request smoking/non-smoking first.
Enjoy your stay. It is a wonderful resort.

Does anyone know if your reservation at WLV says studio lock off - does that mean one w/ 1 queen and a sofa bed or 2 queens? I understand that they have both there. Wondering if the 2 queen are w/ the 2 bedroom units that are not lock offs.

Hi! We stayed in a studio last February and were thrilled with the view (overlooking quiet pool and lake) and location (not far from elevators, stairs, WL). It was room 3505 (non-smoking) and had 1 queen and a sofabed. As I recall, our reservation said "studio lock-off" as well, so that's probably what you're getting. I think that is the usual room configuration at WLV -- I was under the impression that they didn't even have studios with 2 queen beds, but it could be that there just aren't too many of them.

Anyway, hope this anwers some of your questions! You could also look at the room reports area, though I think only a few studios are included. Here's the

Hope you have a great stay... WLV is a wonderful place!!
