For those of you who have stayed at a 1-BR at VWL, is there room in the bedroom area for a twin size air mattress?

Before someone thinks I'm adding an extra person - there will only be four of us, but the sleeping arrangements are such that we are hoping to be able to give our 11yo is own space on the floor rather than having to sleep with us in the King every night.

So, just wondering if we brought an air mattress and sheets if there would be room for us to set it up in the bedroom, or if this is even "okay" to do.

Thanks.

We stayed at a 1-BR at VWL last summer and there was room for a twin air mattress in the bedroom. We did not deflate it each night - just put it in the utility area. There was no problem.

Tesabat .... we stayed in a 1BR at VWL last month. Me, DW, DD11 and DD13. Our daughters refuse to sleep in the same fold out couch so we brought an air mattress.

When we folded out the couch, there was room at the foot of the couch to put the air mattress. It was a little snug trying to cross the room over to the balcony, but doable.

We didn't put the mattress in the master bedroom. my guess is there is room there by the bathroom, but don't know how much the doors would bang into it.

I guess the bottom line is that there should definitely be room for an air mattress as long as it's not a queen or king sized one.

I can't imagine anyone having a problem with this since we are still staying with the occupancy limits. So I truly believe it is "okay". It definitely improves the quality of our vacations without having to go to the more expensive 2BR layout.

Good luck!

I think you will be fine. My sister's daughters take their sleeping bags on trips because they fight constantly and will not sleep in the same bed!(they are 9 and 13)
