VWL maid - same person whether room is booked cash or points?

I believe that when we stay on cash that we get daily maid service?
Is it the same maid in those rooms whether they are booked on cash or points? Im hoping so or I can see the cash maid doing alot of the points maid work

do the Lodge and villas maids switch schedules? I would think it's less work to be a villas maid

If you stay on cash via CRO you get daily maid service. If you book cash through member services, the room comes from the points inventory and DVC housekeeping rules apply.

I'm not sure how they schedule the housekeepers. I'm sure they take into consideration if they have to do full housekeeping or just trash & towel and the size of the rooms when making their assignments. I noticed when we stayed at BWV last December that we rarely saw houskeepers in the hall during the week but on Friday morning there were several. I assume that's because there are a high number of DVC checkouts on Friday mornings.

I'd be interested if anyone knows the answer to this.

We've stayed in ski condos with friends where their condo was cleaned by different maids than ours because we booked through a different company.

I would guess that when CRO rents out a DVC condo they rent out the facility and the services together from DVC -- and therefore use the same maids.
