Question - is everyone still using Mears to get to resort from MCO? We have used them the last few times, but with our grandson not sure if I want to use Uber or Lyft instead. I’d be happy to use a Minnie Van but they are no longer offering airport transfer.

We used Uber for the trip from MCO yesterday. It was $45 and we were at WL check in within an hour of exiting our plane. I think we’ll do it this way since Mears takes much longer to get to the resort and schedules departures to MCO too early for us (4 hours before plane departure last time).

We did a new thing for us last night. Around 8:30 we rode the boat (yeaaaaa, the boats are back, sure makes life a bit easier) from WL to FW to see the Halloween displays. After exiting the boat, we asked at the Trading Post the best places to see the displays, we were told to walk the 100 and 200 loops, by the time we go done we had made our way all the way to 700! The displays are that good! Last night, the kids were trick or treating via golf carts which made it all the more fun to see.

I know its tough to take time away from a busy schedule here, but if you can its worth it! Wish I had pictures but I was so enamored by it all, I didnt think to take any. My nieces, well they took plenty though so maybe I can get some from them.

On our trip back to the Lodge we got to see EWP up close on the water near CR. The boat Capt did say that the resort boat service stops promptly at 10:45. This may affect our plans tonight as we hope to see 10:15 fireworks from TOTWL. Will report back

The Halloween and holiday light decorations at FW were always a highlight for me. Better than tromping all the way to MK and hanging out for a couple of hours to see the parade, at least in my book.

Some kind of hoedown show started up as we exited the country bears that included chip n dale, a few country bears, Clara belle cow and a few others

Went to TOTWL last night and got a good picture of Tron lit up

We're going in January and have booked Mears roundtrip. Fingers crossed it isn't too awful! Our son is autistic and for reasons unknown to us, he doesn't want to get into any car that isn't ours. But he seems to like buses so we're hoping for the best! I'm nervous though.

Maybe take a bus ride locally as a dress rehearsal? If he has a preference on where to sit on the bus, make sure you ask the driver to accommodate that. Good luck and have a magical trip!

So have any of you been able to watch Once Upon a Studio yet? OMG I bawled!!! I have watched it like 5 times now and one time I would pause it in different spots to see all of the characters in it. They didn't forget Humphrey!!!! I got very emotional that they included Lambert!!!! Always one of my favorites.

Thanks! He's ridden the school bus for field trips and liked it and does okay on an airplane which has a similar "feel" to the Mears buses, seat-wise. So I'm hoping that's a good sign. I'm mostly nervous because I've heard of people ending up on a large van for the drive back to the airport with Mears and I don't think he'll like that at all.

In that past we always chose Via Napoli, and more recently we were able to dine at Ale and Compass. This will be the first time we have not done the dining package! I am interested in seeing Chrissy Metz and Ann Margaret though! Enjoy!

Thanks - I agree that the dining choices are not great-and sooo expensive-that’s why I chose breakfast-still not cheap but better than lunch/dinner prices.

With DH, we got Candlelight Processional dining at Biergarten for Ann Margaret’s narration. The next week I will be with three girlfriends and we have Coral Reef for John Stamos’s appearance!

My friends and I are staying at VWL, and we can’t wait. It’s been a long time.
