VWL Check in Question

I have points at WLV, but I have only stayed in the hotel, not the villas. I vaguely remember a reception area in the villas when we did the tour - I think. We are going in four weeks - do we check in at the villas or the lodge? Thanks.

I think the "reception area" at VWL that you might be remembering is the DVC desk in the front of the lobby? I could see where it could look like a reception area.

But as poohstx indicated, the check in for the VWL is the same line and people as the main Lodge check in....a great excuse to hang out in that lobby for a while!

Thanks folks. I'm so glad about that - I love the atmosphere in the WL lobby when I'm checking in. Hi Granny - glad to see you back. I know you were taking some time out from the boards - I have been away with flu for a month, and now you're back.

There is what looks to be a little reception desk when you enter the villas. I don't know if that was ever used for anything, but it's not used now. It just has some brochures on it.

When we stayed there at the beginning of the month, the desk in the lobby of the villas had a DVC person there for one of the two days we were there, otherwise, as somone else said, it just had brochures on it.
