Vow Renewal Brides

Did anyone have a party when they got home after their Vow Renewal?

I'm having VR at Disney for just me & DH, no friends and family.

Friends are pestering me and would like me to have a party when we get back so they can celebrate with me (and see the dress!!).

Just wondering if anyone had done this and had any thoughts?

I don't see why not - especially if you have friends pestering you because they're so excited to go to such a party! Lots of newlyweds have at-home receptions, so why shouldn't a couple who's renewing their vows? Just call it an anniversary party!
