I know I saw some comments about trying to use connections vouchers at Beaches & Cream.... but mousesavers.com still mentions them as the best deal when using a Q&C voucher and I'm wondering if it can still be used there?
It also mentions (on mousesavers.com) that it's an extra good deal there becuase you can order the elaborate desserts with your voucher- does that mean the voucher when it includes a dessert (which this one does) that you can order ANY dessert at Beaches & Cream as well as any dessert at all the other participating restaurants?

Also... is mousesavers.com updated on which restaurants you can use connections vouchers at still? I ask because for SOME reason the connections website doesn't list out all the restaurants that the vouchers can be used at- even when you are buying them! That seems so odd to me. You'd think they'd list them out.. they probably would sell more if the people buying them knew where they could use them! (what if the people buying them didn't know about mousesavers/etc to get a list of where the vouchers can be used at- yanno?)

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance if you can! :)

We just got back last night from WDW.
We used our 3 Connection vouchers at B&C.
The bill excluding tip came to $70.
We ordered:
2 milkshakes
1 large diet coke
1 Turkey sandwich w/fries.
1 Double cheeseburger w/fries
1 caesar salad w/grilled chicken breast
1 chicken noodle soup (not included with the vouccher)
2 no way jose sundaes
1 milky way sundae
I believe the vouchers were an exceptional value at this restaurant. The grilled chicken was counted as a side when we ordered the caesar salad.
The chicken soup my DH ordered was not included in the voucher, we paid $3.99 for the large bowl plus a tip on that amount.
Figment

Thanks for the reply!
I'm going solo... but from what I can see I would still save using a voucher at Beaches & Cream.

Appreciate you reply!

The Connections website has notoriously little info regarding the vouchers... Mousesavers.com has always been the best source of info. FWIW, once you receive the vouchers they have the list of eligible restaurants on the back of each voucher.

LOL, Sybah Shelstah, you might want to flag down another solo traveler to share your B&C meal, either that or fast for a day and consume all 3 meals in one ;) ! DH and I are very "good" eaters (we can pack away a lot of food), and sharing one $11.00 voucher meal at B&C had us very satisfied last October.

Another detail that is not printed anywhere else that I've seen is this: The waitperson gets tipped on the actual $$$ value of your meal, so it is in their interest to help you get the very best value for your voucher. After using them at RCF for breakfast and B&C twice for lunch, I was dissappointed at the San Angel Cantina when I asked if I could have an extra side of sour cream, and I was told that the Guacamole was my side! But, alas, with counter service there is no tip, and no incentive for the CM to pile it on. I got dollar-for-dollar value there, but no enormous saving as with B&C.

Have fun!
