I do subscribe to WrightDownMainStreet on YouTube. She does pretty honest food reviews. Although we've lived here for over a year and haven't been to the parks once.

It’s no secret I can’t stand the ‘influencers’ in the parks. I’ve watched them crowd out families, hijack character meets, and turn every corner into their personal photo studio. It’s not about the magic anymore, it’s about their brand and it ruins the moment for everyone else.

slo knows I watch ResortTV1 like her and I catch a few others a little less regularly. I’m actually surprised how few people on a DISNEY board watch any of these! Sometimes it’s nice after a long day to watch and relax to the sights and sounds of a Disney park.

@leebee if you’re home tonight, it’s your lucky night! You get to go to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be able to make it as I have some plans… ENJOY!

Thank you for posting this link and I actually am surprised too with how few people enjoy watching the influencers. Like anything, there's good ones and bad ones, and ResortTV1 is definitely one of the good ones. They are very respectful to people around them, they are very friendly to those that approach them. They always ask their permission before showing them on the stream. They are always telling the viewers to be opened minded to any changes Disney makes and to always always always be respectful to the cast members. I think they are great and I recommend them to everyone I know that loves Disney.

I know some have mentioned they don't like the influencers, and everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but just remember how much joy they give the homebound, the elderly, the sickly, the family that can't afford to go to Disney parks and on and on. We have a patient at our work that has a very sickly wife with cancer and they used to go to the parks all the time. She can no longer go, and I recommended ResortTV1 to her and she now watches them on a regular basis. She can still go the parks, without actually going to the parks, which is a wonderful thing for her.

I don't watch live streamers and I'm going to go on the record and say that the increase of influencers in the parks (Universal included) is negatively impacting the parks overall as well as the guest experience.

I can't sit and watch a live stream for hours but I do enjoy fast forwarding after a day is completed and picking out things of interest-maybe once a week.

And I find them very useful for watching Concerts at F&W and F&G and new shows and attractions,etc..

They can be a little irritating, but I lean to they provide more positive than negative-the respectful ones that is.

I always wonder if all of them will have serious arm problems as they age.

I wouldn't be against Disney/Universal putting a cap on the number of live streamers.

But I guess their stance is the more the merrier-they will take all the free advertisement they can get.

Does ResortTV1 does curated videos as well? Or only the live streams? I am in the planning stages for my first WDW trip in 25 years and am looking for WDW YouTubers to help me out. I currently watch Mammoth Club because they do Disneyland content as well. And I am loving that FreshBaked is doing WDW content now as well.

I watch ResortTV1 often but usually don't catch them live. We like putting them on in the background. Gives happy vibes. We also like the food ones just for fun. We saw Paging Mr. Morrow doing a review for the Epcot Food & Wine when he filmed for Disney Parks. When we watch it's to relax and remember out own trips and look forward to upcoming ones.

I watch a lot of Disney and Universal vloggers, but not live. I don’t like that format at all and prefer the edited videos. I have watched a few of the vloggers do live chats, but not live in the parks.
I was in line and seated w a live vlogger on mickeys runaway railway one night, and I really wasn’t comfortable w it. I wish they wouldn’t live stream from the parks .

I only watch a video (not live) rarely when someone here posts a link, special things like for the new Disney parade or when Universal Epic opened.

I don't follow 'influencers' on any topic anywhere on social media.

I throw on Pops Disney Adventures on mute while I do yoga. 5-6 times a week. Out of all the Disney Influencers I’ve seen, he seems to be the most respectful where he doesn’t film others, does slow rides, singers, marching bands, checkouts new merchandise in stores, doesn’t bother cast members unless they talk to him first, doesn’t bother other friends unless approached. His focus is mornings at Disneyland and then he’s out of the park by noonish majority of the time ending his live stream for the day.

They do some, but not many.
Mammoth Club is a great one for planning - Molly and Allen do a great job.
The other ones I would recommend is Disney Food Blog (DFB) and AllEars.Net - both of these are great. A.J. Wolfe just published a book titled Disney Adults. I have not bought it yet, but I will be. Have fun planning your trip :smickey:

I forgot, I do watch both DFB and AllEars, as well. I agree they are both great. They both do some Disneyland content as well, which is nice. Since Disneyland will always be my 'home" park. I just finished listening to Disney Adults. Definitely worth a read/listen.

Thanks. I have Disneyland pretty much down to a science, even if I did need a refresher before my trip last year after not going for 8 years. WDW is a different beast. I have about a year and a half to get familiarized with the parks and learn all the tips & tricks before my trip.
