Voucher for Planet Hollywood Question

i have a question for anyone who has already travelled on a WDW 2007 package.

Is the Planet Hollywood certificate now a dollar amt as described below or is it the same as in previous years where you are stuck with either a burger, salad or spaghetti?

(-- $15 certificate valid for food and non-alcoholic beverages at Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney West Side. VIP Preferred Seating is available from 11 a.m. through 6 p.m. Not valid with any other offers or discounts. One certificate per reservation.)

I'm hoping it's a flat dollar amt as i don't eat much right now and my DD and i could probably both eat for that amount. (or not much more)

That's the way I am taking it, a $15 dollar credit towards food. I actually like that better than last choosing between 3 choices. My family is not sure they want to go again. I look at it this way, it's $15. We could order a couple of appetizers and make a lunch out of that. We go in August so I have some time to work on them.

I used that voucher in Feb. when I was there. It was $15 off and it didn't limit what you could eat at all. In fact my BIL and nephew traveled with me and my kids and we all sat together and asked for seperate bills. He used his voucher for their meals and I used mine and my kids. They had no problem doing it that way. Also, there was a VERY NICE couple that sat next to us that were on the DDP and they did not want their dessert and had the waiter come over to our table with the dessert menu and GAVE us the 2 desserts of our choice off the menu. We did not have reservations either, we just walked in for lunch. We had the DDP and did not want to use the TS for lunch there so we had decided before hand to use the vouchers and just pay cash. I will be going again in Sept. and plan on doing the same thing. I hope this helps.

My Friend here at work (We met on the DIS actually and then i got my job at the county a few months later) and our daughters are going in Sept. (dd's are both 13.) SO we have free DDP but the first night we are getting in later (9-10ish) and not much counter stuff outside the parks may be open. We have two rooms so two vouchers. PH is open later so i think that first night will be a good chance to use them.

We will get 2 vouchers as we have 2 rooms booked at POP in Aug. We are going down 3 days before we actually check into POP and we are staying off site. Do we get the vouchers after our final payment is made? I seem to recall last year we had our meal vouchers mailed in the packet. This would help us out a lot with our dinner plans for our night at DTD. Can anyone help?

Is this for all packages or jsut for some. I just booked free dining, will we be getting this even if i did it with a travel agent?

Last year during free dining it was like three different entrees (well not really entrees per se -- burger, etc.). We didn't use it. In January when we were there it was $15 and we did use it for lunch one day. It is my understanding that it is NOT included this year for free dining. I got my new confirmation and I don't remember seeing it. It would say it on there -- along with the mini golf voucher and sea raycer one.

Is the voucher directly linked to my name & ressie, or can I give it to my girlfriend, who will be visiting us aon a couple of days, and Id like to give it to her on a night that I hadnt planned on her being w us for dinner (and I couldnt change the # of guests on my ADR

Then If she wants, she can still get something great to eat (crunch chicken still lingers in my dreams) and I think she'd enjoy all of the cool displays

I'm going to be using the dining plan for planet hollywood. Is there any difference in eating ther than any other place at Disney? And how do you get this gift certificate?

I have my WDW Reservation Confirmation in front of me that Disney mailed to me already for travel including the Free DD for Sept. There are 3 vouchers that are coming with the package: Minature Golf, $15 Planet Hollywood, and a Sea Raycer offer. I just went 2 months ago (Feb) and have been there MANY times. So, This is not new to me. For my Feb 2007 trip, I recieved all of my vouchers before leaving home. So, You will have them to use prior to check-in at your WDW resort. I was also in Orlando 3 days prior to check-in because we went to the Nick Hotel and did SeaWorld for 3 days prior to staying with Disney.

We have two packages for Sept/Oct and will be going back in December. Will we be able to use the PH vouchers when we return in December when we will not be getting free food?

I am guessing that we would only be able to use one voucher a visit though.

On the golf if you get a free game with the voucher and get a B1G1F with your annual pass does that mean that a couple could golf for free? (doubting it but thought I would ask anyway).

Is it B1G1 now? LAst time i had an AP it was 50% off....

Luckily we have 4 in our group (in two rooms) but the other family has AP's so can get the discount for the two of us who have to pay.

According to allears website, this is the mini-golf discount for AP holders:

Miniature Golf - 50% off for Passholder and up to three guests playing with you at Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course or Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course.

So one of you will be free and one of you can use the 50% discount from the AP.

Yep, that is what I thought. Miniature golf for 25% of the price. Sounds like a good deal to me. I read where if you time it right you can sort of see some of the fireworks from MGM while playing. Sounds like a plan.

We made our reservations in Feb. We reserved 2 rooms & recieved 5 vouchers for $15 each. I called & made our reservations for dinner & asked if they could all be used together at the same time. The answer was "yes" I wasn't sure if they were going to make us all get seperate tickets, which would have been a pain ! !

We received ours in the mail with the rest of our packet. (about 3 weeks ago) We also got 5 golf vouchers (so we can all play for free ) plus the sea racer vouchers.
