Volleyball Anyone?

I just got an email I'm Coaching Volleyball. YIKES I've never played Volleyball.

Our youth leauge make you volunteer for something online so I always pick assistant coach...how bad can I screw that up? In Basketball they never pick me! Well now I get an email saying your a coach DD11 is not going to like this.

Who plays volleyball? Help!

I coached volleyball for a year. The kids were in 3rd and 4th grade. I had a lot of fun. I am sure you can find drills if you google it. I would try to get somebody who played before to help you.

My DD plays and I enjoy watching the games but I'm just a backyard coach. Good Luck though. It sounds like it could be fun.

My DD laughed when I told her. Not the reaction I was expecting...but a good one. I emailed the leadge & told them I said assistant coach. In this email to about 7 people they said coaches from last year would get to keep the kids they had last year. So the coaches that know what they are doing get the kids who know what they are doing?
