that's how I surf all the fan sites.
take a fan site, any fan site, and google the name along with archive, and its easy to find all of the threads in jif

You know, you can go to User CP and somewhere it says: Thread Prune date. The default is a month, but mine is on forever. I go back and look at what people talked about years ago on the CB and TB.
