VMK Closing - it's back!

This is a bit , but, has anyone else noticed that the forum's time stamp is a bit off? Or is it just me?
It seems to be off by about 13 minutes.

I think this has been mention/discussed before but that is normal!

Yup we play that in my french class. We get a cake and whoever has the piece with the baby in it we get extra credit. I love Mardi Gras month!

So its been down all most an hour again....I figure at least another before it comes back up...like all the other Sundays barely comes back up before it done! Come VMK....lets get it back up now! I want my VMK..Please!!!

At this point I think that's something we can count on happening. Since there's apparently no interest in fine tuning things so that the Sunday crashes do not repeat we'll be dealing with this again and again.

I'm beginning to understand why some get fed up and quit VMK.

You get what you pay for. For a free game, we get a lot.

I will have to do more research on this Mardi Gras as now I am confused. First you bake baby Jesus kinda religous symbol and then girls take of their tops to get more beads. extreme from one thought to the other.

Well that is all I know about Mardi Gras what I see on TV

They would give me more beads to put my clothes back on.

OMG, this is the funniest thing EV-AR! Almost makes it worth VMK crashing so I get something this funny. lol

Hey better yet... the plastic baby represents the baby Jesus... ...and on 12th night (January 6th- the 12th night of Christmas) whoever got the piece of cake with the coin or bean would be the king... and bad because the tradition is - whoever gets the king cake baby has to buy the next king cake- those things are eaten all the time in offices and school snacks...

I'd never heard of the King's Cake until last year, although I didn't know it at the time. A lady co-worker brought in a ring-shapped cake. It was like a light pastry with jellied-fruits on the top and tasted great! The cake, I was told, is a Mexican/Catholic tradition called by a title in Spanish I don't remember. But if you had a piece and got the plastic baby (the "Baby Jesus") you were commited to bring potluck on Feb 2nd (to "feed the Baby Jesus"). There are normally 2 babies in each cake. The tradition was repeated just this last month and this time I got the plastic Jesus so I brought breakfest (fresh fruit, cottage cheese and yogurt (it's a office full of ladies, heh) for the office on the 2nd. The lady who got the other baby brought homemade taco fixin's for everyone's lunch. Anyway, I didn't realize until today that this cake was a related tradition to Mardi Gras' King's Cake. Heh. It is a Small World After All...
