ThAnswr,
As a matter of fact, I do know of this one southern lawyer who might just want to ask Mr. Cheney a question or two about those defense cuts in the next couple months . .

He might also ask about these facts as well:
US Asks UN to Approve Iraq Occupation
Saturday, May 10, 2003
The United States and its allies asked the UN Security Council on Friday to give its stamp of approval to their occupation of Iraq and sought permission to use revenue from the world's second-largest oil reserves to rebuild the war-battered country.
The draft notes that Washington and London sent a letter to the council president Thursday recognizing their responsibilities and obligations under international law "as occupying powers."
The letter marks the first time the United States has referred to its role in Iraq as an "occupying power," a status governed by the Geneva Conventions that details wide-ranging responsibilities for the Iraqi people. Washington had called itself a "liberating force.. . "
and. .
". . . In 2001, Bush said: "Precisely because America is powerful, we must be sensitive about expressing our power and influence." And this month, he said: "We need to be very sensitive" in balancing individual rights and intelligence gathering. " Full Story
Oh, and as for posting the comment concerning the fact Miller at one time was a segregationist- I posted that (along with the other examples) to show that Miller going against his party and doing a complete about-face on an issue are nothing new. . I don't feel it's like the Swift Boat Ads simply because it's true. . but although it actually shows a postivie change on an issue, in retrospect it does appear to be a cheap shot and I probably should have left it out.
And thank you for your service to our country ThAnswr- in both instances.
Rcyannacci and LoraJ- I take it you both saw the same thing I did. .
I thought saying it appeared Miller was having some "mental problems" was being understated. .
And I also said earlier that, "I think 'ol Zell better find a less psychotic way to deal with these questions then he did tonight or duck out of site for awhile. Looking at the story Bsears posted ( GOP Backs Away From Miller ) it appears someone in the Bush campaign agreed with me. .
I could almost feel sorry for Zell if he hadn't of been so mean and dishonest in what he's said the past few months. .
One last thing. . . Olaf, you said "You know what's wrong with you Dems? You can dish it, but you can't take it." and "Navy Challenging Kerry's Medals- It doesn't get much worse than wearing medals that you're not entitled to. Of course Kerry doesn't actually wear them, he just throws them. If this turns out to have legs, he can forget about the military/vet vote. . ."
In light of those statements, I wonder if you like to comment on this:

A closer examination of a photograph included in President George W. Bushs Air Force records, released by the White House earlier this year, shows then-Second Lieutenant Bush wearing an Air Force Outstanding Unit Award which he never earned. The photograph is also displayed on George H. W. Bushs Presidential library website.. . Full Story
Politics- gotta love it . . .
