We will be staying at BWV from THanksgiving Day until Dec. 1. My dad and step-mom are driving up from Pompano Beach on the 26th to spend some time with us. We have invited them to stay with us but they may be getting their own place off-site. My question is....what is the best way to go about having them park? Should they just use the regular parking lot or do valet parking? Should we get them a parking permit and is there someone we need to notify that they will be coming? Thanks for any help. We are trying to make this as uncomplicated as possible for them as they are on the 'older' side.

Let the front desk know when you check-in. They will give you an additional parking pass. If there are any mobility issues, just use the valet service and they'll have their car right at the front door.

The public lot is usually filled and parking spots are at a premium at times. I wouldn't subject them to that aggravation when the valet lot is so convenient.

Enjoy!

I agree. Even the designated lot gets real full and you may not always find a spot. That happened to us this spring. We had to park in the visitor lot a lot. We "visited" a couple weeks ago while staying at OKW and that lower lot is a good hike and not a lot of spaces there at times either, I can just imagine over a holiday. We saw a lot of BW permits in that lot too, so things are not improving. Use valet. They'll feel special too. ;) It's such a glamourous place to be "dropped off".
Have fun.
