We are arriving the day before Easter and spending four days in the parks. Any tips or strategies for making the best use of our time during this peak period for crowds? We have visited many times before but never during a time this busy. There are two children - ages 10 and six - in our party. Thanks.

Go as early as possible, schedule FP for afternoons, be flexible.

Get there for RD and ride as much as you can when the crowds are at their lowest.

I agree with Mesaboy and make your FP+ selections for late morning and early afternoons.

We will be arriving at the same time!! We made a last minute Easter trip to WDW 2 years ago. Let me tell you, booking rooms the week before Easter that year was a real challenge!! We ended up splitting our stay between the Dolphin and POP, with the Dolphin at the beginning of the trip and over Easter weekend. That was perfect, as it allowed us to take the boat or walk to Epcot and DHS. The Dolphin was completely full, so the boardwalk area was hopping! This really wasn't a problem. Instead, it made things seem more festive. Somehow, we managed to get ADR's for the week at all the places we wanted, O'hana's, BoG, etc. I just kept checking back for cancellations the week before we left. The parks were very busy; but everything seemed to be running at full-capacity, so the waits weren't as bad as fall break or summer. We always use the strategy mentioned above: arrive early and ride as much as possible. Make ADR's for the late afternoon/evening. We have PAPs, so we tend to head to the water parks in the afternoons. We've found if you go to the water parks around 2:00, many people are leaving. The great thing about a trip at this time of year is the weather. It's usually fantastic! Mornings can be a bit chilly for swimming, but afternoons are plenty warm. Love it!

DITTO!!! Rope drop is your best friend. Be there with breakfast in your belly and ready to hit it hard. Get FP+ for 11:00 or after. Take a midday break, then return in the late afternoon/early evening.
