Visiting over New Years

We will be in Paris over New Years and thought we would spend NYE or New Year’s Day at Disneyland Paris. We will be moving hotels to stay closer to the park to avoid being in Paris city center for NYE. I am looking for feedback on these days in the parks. We will likely only do one day in the parks. Are we crazy to go during this time of year?

Crazy is very subjective, but you are here among like minded people Yes, it is going to be very busy, but they do have special fireworks for NYE, plus special meals in the fancy restaurants (at a price, of course )

The last week of December is a holiday week on almost the entire continent, there is no way to make that any better.

Best is to make a list of the bare minimum you want to see/do and everything else you get done is a bonus.
