We are booked in a Cat. 11. Since this is our first cruise I didn't want to spend the extra money on a veranda room. My question is if there is a veranda room that is not being occupied would they allow us to look at it for a future cruise. It would be nice to see the difference between the cabins if we decide to take another cruise.

I can't answer your question about viewing the other category while on board, but you could try Barb and Tony's site at www.castawayclub.com. They have a bunch of room pictures and the Disney site also does a good job of giving you the layout.

Good Luck!

We have gotten many of our photos of various category rooms either right after boarding or on the way off the ship on the last day. At those times, there are no guests in the rooms, and the doors are propped open because the stateroom hosts are cleaning them. It's a great opportunity to check out other types of cabins (although sometimes I think they suspect we are nuts when they see us in a room snapping away with the digital camera!).

Thanks for the information. My way of thinking is if my hubby sees the veranda rooms maybe we can get one for the next trip.
