Visa Free Dining - do you already have your code?

I'm a Disney Visa Chase card holder and have received NOTHING (mail nor email). Will I not even get my code until the 7th?

don't know. I am a card holder and have gotten nothing. WHen the last discount came out for the april room only discount, I seemed to get the e-mail at about the same time as other people here reported getting their e-mail.

MAYBE. Worse case scenario by monday there WILL be a valid code in the forum here somewhere.

Last year's e-mail came the day before the program opened up. You can also checked their website...I can't remember it off the top of my head but something like disneyrewards dot com.

to them later in the day after Free DP had started...
From Disney Visa...
The only code I have seen from a TA's post is AYG...
But no one will know anything for sure
until they officially announce it...

You won't need a code...all you need is your Disney Visa card #. As all Disney visa card #s start with either 4266 9010 or 4266 9020 the CM will know if you have a Disney Visa or not. If your card doesn't start with one of the above 8 # sequences then you won't be able to book until the GP. So basically as long as you have a Disney Visa you're secure. It does seem odd though that no one has advance notice from Disney Visa- you'd think they'd be promoting the promotion ( there's a tongue twister).---Kathy

It will be INTERESTING to see
HOW MANY chase Visa cardholders get ANY notification of FREE DINING PROMO.

I was not notified last year and not notified at all this year. Just got off phone with Chase, said they have NO PROMO and offer comes thru DISNEY not chase and they do NOT send an email at all.

At this point I am JUST THANKFUL for the boards to learn the info FIRST HAND!

I remember last year the rumors were everywhere just like this year.

Last year I followed the FD Code watch thread and the day the code
came out there were some people letting everyone with a DVisa know
that their code was received in the email.
Email Notice were being sent to Disney Visa Card Holders
at different times and states(in batches) so I kept an eye on my email.
Seems like last year
the emails started on the East Coast States and like a wave came thru
going West to the West Coast states.
Sure enough I received my Email code that same day and was able to call
and get FD. I wasn't going to jump the gun until I knew for sure that
FD was even going to be offered.
I wouldn't worry to much because Disney Visa Card holders get to be 1st
to book and last year we got like a few days before General Public even knew about it.
Luckly this year we were able to take
advantage of the Bounce Back FD offer and now I don't have to look for a
code in my email.
I hope everyone gets there FD Code and see you guys in Sept.

Thank goodness for gmail. I went back and checked my archives for all my old Disney offers. I had actually saved this one, even though I hadn't been able to use it.

I received mine at 6:30 pm on 4/9/07, the same day the offer started so I wouldn't expect any emails until Monday. Here is the email from last year.

Don't know if this helps but, if you click on Discounts here on the Disboards, there is something listed about the Disney Visa Card code stating that it does begin Monday and also gives a code. Don't know just how valid the info is but if I don't get an email from Chase, I will call Disney direct with this code and just give it a go-nothing to lose by trying. :cool

Again, you do *not* need a code to use your Disney Visa to book FD. The Disney Visa itself is all you need to qualify. People last year booked just with the DV- the codes were sent out by email and snail mail after many already had their ressies. CM's will know if you have a Disney Visa or not, and are thus eligible to book tomorrow asap, just by the first 8 digits of your card.---Kathy

That wasn't the minimum - it was an "example" price. The minimum was 3 nights.

Oh, yikes, I thought in the past you only needed a 3 day package. I can't go if you have to stay longer than that...it was going to be an Anniversary weekend trip just for DH and I...

Last year a 3nt/4day package was allowed. The advertisement listed 5nt/6day but was available for 3nt/4day stays as well.

Does anyone know how, or if? It is possible to add the Visa Free Dining to an exsiting reservation for September? I have already booked a 9nt/10dy trip with MYW/plus dinning.
