Visa and Master Card Alert!

HI ALL!
News bulletin on the radio : Double billing on Visa and Master Card Statement. Suggested consumers check with their Card issuer.
After calling my MC issuer I found that a charge was triple billed at Walmart. The Master Card Rep was aware and issued a correction and gave me a confirmation # if the corection didn't go thru.
Suggest calling your MC and Visa issuers.

Thanks for the info! I just had my debit/visa number accessed twice and my husband once...new cards had to be issued so hopefully we won't have this problem to deal with too!

It happened to us!!!!! I bought some things at Walmart on Thursday and spend $100. Wouldnt you know it $300 is out of my checking account because I used a debit card. UGGGHHHH!!!! Hopefully it will be corrected soon.

Something about this was in my local paper this morning - it occurred on purchases at Walmart on 03/31. Customers were double or triple billed.

This also happened to me. I went to Wal-Mart on 4/1 and I was triple charged. I called Wal-Mart and they gave me this number to call 1-888-893-0626. All excess charges are suppose to be removed by Tuesday. I hope so because I'm now missing over $200.00 from my account ...

This was on the news this morning. Walmart has caught the problem and they will be refunding the overcharge in the next week or so. Good idea to call your card or debit bank/company. But, they know about it and it will be corrected soon.

Just confirms my total distaste for walmart. HOpefully, no one will have anything returned because they have a problem.
