As a marathon runner I've done several virtual runs while on the ship just to keep up with my training.

I actually was planning on completing this onboard (stuff happened but I still did a 5k just didn't pay for the medal). There was one family that did not complete it onboard but brought there medal and t-shirt just for a picture of Pluto.

I just finished my August run - it's the only one I signed up for this year but I'm hoping to sign up for all of them in 2018

Aww. This makes me sad that my dog is too old to run with me now. Maybe I will do it anyway. The medal is super cute.

Have you received your medals yet? Did you have to request them? Someone mentioned they just mail them out at the end of the month but I'm not sure and haven't received mine yet. I only did August. Planning to do the 5K with my son at CC in February!!

LOL...I don't run and did not participate in any of them....I was just posting that I liked the medals!!! I envy people who like to run....I hate it!!!

What do runners get for finishing the race?

Runners will receive a finisher medal within 30 days of the race timeframe completion or sooner.


How do runners receive their medals?

Medals will be shipped to the physical address provided. Please note that medals cannot be shipped to a PO Box or APO Box. In addition, medals shipped outside the U.S. will require an international shipping charge of $5 per 5K or $15 for the series.

For those who did August, be patient.

I'm not a fan of running either but have now done The Tinkerbell 5k and the Jedi 10k. Never in a million years would I have guessed I'd take part in either. Something about Disney.......the only motivator that works for me! I'm even considering doing The 5k on CC in February. Both the medal and securing great seats on the beach are the draw for that one!!
