Virgin welcome meeting - should we go ?

Does anyone have any views. My initial thoughts are it's not worth going because....

I have been to WDW 3 times before, I will buy all my tickets in advance, on the first day we will be wide awake early and could get to MK early and do a character breakfast instead rather than hanging around for the meeting.

Will we miss anything?

I am a holiday rep and would normally reccomend people to go to the welcome meeting but if you have been to wdw 3 times before then I dont think you will learn anything new (unless it has been a long time since you have been!)

Even on our first trip to WDW we never went to the welcome meeting, complete waste of time, you can learn more on here !!!!

book a PS and enjoy a nice breakfast!.

We haven't been to one for years - much better getting off somewhere and having some fun..unless you have any tickets to collect or anything I wouldn't bother - and you can get all the tickets elsewhere and probably cheaper!!

We went the first time we visited and quite honestly it was just a hard sell. Since then, we haven't bothered. As you've been before I wouldn't bother.

We've never been either but we did see a Virgin rep on one of our rest days last month to claim our free Hard Rock Cafe meal coupon. Each member of your party can have a main course, dessert and a soft drink - the choice is limited but wide enough for everyone to be happy.

I'd give it a miss, never really had any information that i didnt already learn from the dis boards and whatever they are giving you free to try and get you there to sell some passes is not worth the time you miss in the parks

we went on our first wdw trip this year and we were so well planned we didnt bother going and all went amazingly well. i wouldnt bother personally. you could always see how you feel on the morning though.
