I hear the new A330 planes virgin are using from April (Man- Mco) have some extra leg room seats for £30
does anyone know where they are located on the plane and are they worth the money.....

Do you have a link to the info? not heard anything about it, I know you can pay £30 on the older planes but I would have thought a little early yet for anyone to know about the new planes, maybe some inside info knocking about.:confused3

I have been in touch with virgin who are willing to take my money but can not tell me where the seats are on the plane which is a A330-300
I just hate that return flight when the person in front reclines their seat moment the plane is in the air.....

That sounds like Virgin, take your money 1st, ask questions later:goodvibes

One if the great pleasures of flying economy, having someone recline into you. I don't mind if they sit upright at meals, annoys me when they don't do that.
I try take the back row of a section so I can recline without hassle and sleep most of flight.

It used to be you could only buy the extra leg room seats at the airport - has this changed then?

Not that it affects me as we fly PE.

I am really not looking forward to these new planes - we pulled along side an A330 whilst waiting to take off from LGW in November and I didn't realise how small they were!

I have booked our seats at the back of a section for April, I also hate it when the person in front reclines their seat during meals, I am inclined to ask them if they mind putting it up while we eat, you have to lean forward anyway to eat!

On the plan the plane looks quite small, I don't mind though it's only 8 hours isn't it! :)
