Virgin Holidays November 2011 Harry Potter Celebrations

My first post be gentle.

I had email from Virgin today about the November 11 to 13th 2011 Harry Potter celebrations which have the following:

* Autograph Sessions with Cast Members
* Q&A Sessions with Cast Members
* Q&A Sessions with the Filmmakers and Universal Orlando's Creative Team
* Screenings of All Eight Harry Potter™ Films
(at the AMC® Universal Cineplex 20 with IMAX® in Universal CityWalk®, additional charges apply)
* The Weekend Culminates with a Spectacular Private Gala Evening Event on Sunday, 13 November Including Food and Beverages, Live Entertainment, and Cast Member Appearances

We are going end of August so will miss this

We are going 19th Aug, staying off site on I Drive. First time to Florida for DW, DD 10, DS 6 and DD 4. I was last there some 15 years ago when AK was still being built.

We have Disney 14 day ultimate ticket and also Universal and IOA 2 park pass.

So looking forward to it. Do say hello if anyone is around that time.

We're going to be over there, but I don't think that we'll bother with it. I think that it'll be really packed!

Hello the original Ninja. Shame we not going then but still will be awesome. I was also looking at the Food and Wine festival and again that is staring in October so will not be able to partake.

Catherine, I agree it will probably be crowded but at the same time a great atmosphere to experience.

Were you planning on going to the Studios and IOA weekend? We were going to go to Universal on the 14th and 15th but we've decided to change that as the rooms at the Royal Pacific were being booked quickly, so we thought that the parks might also be busy on the Mon and Tues

We're at Disney from the 15th, was thinking about flying into MCO on the Saturday and spending 3 nights at UOR but I've noticed RPR is completely booked up for those dates now! May have to add the extra nights at Universal onto the end of the trip, which will then take us into Thanksgiving weekend! I think we@ll be hitting crowds either way Hopefully we can afford to stay onsite at UOR though so we get the Express passes to make up for the crowds.
