Virgin have pleasantly surprised me!

No that's just it, they haven't sent me anything. I know the booking has been made as I can access it on the VA site, but I need something in writing with the date of purchase in case we have to cancel......DD has severe health issues and we never know if we'll need to cancel...insurance company need dates of purchase to compare with Dr's letter stating she was well at the time.

VA are not being at all helpful.

Oh no confirmation email either sounds odd? But VA confirm that the booking has been made?

Claire ;)

Yes I have the locator number and can access it on the site, but I do need confirmation "just in case".

Anyway, I have written a firm letetr and sent it off. Watch this space;)

Gill,
have you sent a copy of the letter to Richard Branson's office?

Thanks for your advice.....I'll give it a go.

The confirmation email I would 99% say is automatically generated when you book so either the system was playing up, didn't recognise your email address or somehow the email address was incorrectly entered.

Either way a letter is a good idea as you shoudl have had a written confirmation by now either by email or snail mail letter.

Claire ;)
