Virgin 5 Day Sale

Got an email overnight from Flying Club giving me the heads up for this.

Virgin have a flash sale for 5 days, finishes 15th February.

Dates for Orlando seem to span all of Feb (except half term) till end of March, a week or so window at end of April, 3 weeks in June and then pretty much all of November into the first week of December.

Lots of choice, also includes Premium Economy!

There are a few limited dates also from Manchester and Glasgow available.

Economy from £429 (but that's if you fly this month!), next cheapest is £453

Premium Economy from £871


Other destinations available if you're looking to holiday elsewhere this year.

I saw someone has picked up 2 weeks at at Easter(flying Good Friday) for £487 (child £430)

Hmm - no difference in the Manchester offers - still nothing for our dates. At first glance I would have said this was a continuation of the sale that's been going on since Christmas.

The price I quoted above is from Manchester and upto the sale showing at £683pp so there are some deals there but as with all Virgin sales it will be only for dates & routes that suit Virgin

The Easter dates aren't in the sale though - this 5 day sale has the same dates from Manchester as the sale that's been on since Christmas (unless I've read it wrong - always possible!) It's definately time for some more competition from Manchester - anyone fancy buying a plane??

You are right but people are finding deals outside these dates so maybe they have not updated the dates, not sure.
100% agree more competition is needed from Manchester, there was Travelcity Direct, Flyglobespan, BMI indirect, now all gone.

In other news, on a whim I booked a spontaneous 8 night trip in May last night for my birthday, which is obviously totally awesome for me! Assuming you ignore small details like not having any dining reservations, or Annual Pass/tickets, or indeed, any where to actually sleep at this point.

But hey, at least I can get there!
