VIP Guide - Are they worth the expense?

Has anyone ever used a VIP guide from Disney? I am curious to learn about them and what they offer. I have read that they do not get you to the front of the line on attractions, but you do get special seating at parades, etc. How knowledegable (sp?) are they?

A Guest Relations host/hostess will escort you thru the parks. They are very knowledgeable and can provide a variety of information. Depending on how long you have their services a meal for them may be included. You are correct they do not get you in the front of the line and they are not allowed to ride the attractions with you.
