Villians Sinister Soirée

So now that all the parties have sold out, they are on to the phase where they start cutting entertainment? I would have been very disappointed too.

I was there and didn't hear anyone complain as I said before we didn't even realize until well into the party.. And it did not take away from a great experience..

Yes no sisters for us on Sunday. It was sad, we were really looking forward to meeting them. We asked Lady Tremaine how they were doing to see what she would say and we got nothing. We were not the only ones disappointed though, I overheard a few people talking about it on the way out.

If anyone that is going tonight or tomorrow is on this page, would you mind reporting back on whether the stepsisters were there? My kids were most excited about this because the stepsisters are their favorite villains.

I've been trying to book this for several weeks now for either October17 or 19 with no luck. I've been calling daily - has anyone been able to get a cancellation for any of these Villain Soirees or should I give up?

We went to the 9/12 party and the queen of hearts wasn't there for the 10:15 one. But I heard from others that she was at the late party the same night.

Book dinner at 1900 PF if they want to see the SSs, they will prob get more interaction at 1900

Stepsisters were there last night @ 11:45 seating, as were all others characters, I think. Will have to go through list to be 100% certain, but I don't believe anyone one was missing. We had a great time!

Downstairs - Stepsisters, Captain Hook, Frollo, Queen of Hearts

Upstairs - Lady Tremaine + stepsisters, Queen Grimhilde, Maleficent, Dr. Facilier, Cruella DeVil, with Hook, Frollo and/or Queen of Hearts sometimes mingling upstairs early in the party.

You can pick up the soirée badges outside the park until 630. Party wristbands are available inside.

I went to the Soiree again to take my sister and niece on 10/3. They've changed some things. Frollo was no longer there. He had been replaced by Jafar. The cast of Villains must rotate. I was also surprised to see there was a later Mix and Mingle show added. Still no "Mingle" after the show, though.

I don't care too much for Frollo. Hoping this Friday's party will have Jafar also. Like that Captain Hook is upstairs.

Went to the late seating on 10/2. Showed up at the castle at 11:35 and were the 2nd to last group in the door. Queen of Hearts and Stepsisters signed autographs and spent time goofing around with my 7yo daughter. Didn't get to meet Hook upstairs--he took off right before our table. Thankfully we had great interaction with him a couple of nights earlier at Pirates and Pals or my daughter would have been very upset. All the character interactions were great. My daughter was laughing hysterically at their antics. Several of the villains kept sneaking up on Drizella and scaring her. I do wish Jafar had been there though.
I was most excited for the preferred parade and fireworks viewing. I hate waiting for these things and usually don't so I always have bad viewing areas. The preferred area was great. We had picked up our passes at the cupcake (that's what the Disney people call the building out front) around 5:30. Absolutely no line. We ate dinner and rode some rides. We got to the parade viewing area at about 8:10, flashed our passes, walked right in, received our free waters, took our magic shot picture and were at the rope looking straight into Liberty Square about 2 minutes before the Headless Horseman arrived at 8:16. After the parade we met some characters and did some trick or treating. We arrived back at the hub at 9:15 for the fireworks. It was a little tricky crossing the crowd to get to the entrance, but not too big of a deal. After the fireworks we rode more rides, met more characters, and did more trick or treating before heading to the castle.
It was a great night and we were able to do everything we wanted to do. We did not wait in the big long lines for 7 dwarves or anything like that. Not worth it to waste our time for that. My daughter was super excited to stay at the park until 1AM and leave with it virtually empty. Overall, definitely worth the money.

Went to the early seating tonight. Got to the area at 7:40 and there were no front row spots left. Found a spot behind some strollers so it was okay, but if you are short or have littles, you might want to get there early. If you want water get it before the parade. We tried after the parade before the castle show and they were out. For the castle show and fireworks you can spread out and that was nice. The villians show is not easy to see from there, people will stop right in front of you, sometimes with kids on their shoulders. They did not lead us to the soirée as some reported they have done. They dropped the ropes and let the masses surround us and trying to get to the castle was not easy. We had to go all the way back around past HM to get there. People were pushing and shoving until we got back in the Liberty Square area and it was not fun.The sisters and queen of Hearts were in the lobby. The sisters were fabulous! Queen was fun too. Sisters came upstairs and continued to be the life of the party the rest of the night. They went to the tables. Hook and Jafar went to the tables during the cheese course. The desserts were fabulous. Cruella was hilarious. The not so poison drink starts off good, but after a while it is a bit much-very sweet. Even DD couldn't drink that much of it. There is water too. We got unlucky enough to be in a back corner so we felt a little out of it, but somebody has to get that table. My only complaint is I did not get a pic with Maleficent. She hit our area last and the party was about to end and she was trying to get to everyone. DD got a quick pic with her but she rushed off before I could get one too. Not her fault, just bad luck in where we wound up seated guess. DD was happy even though she was our quickest interaction. Since she was the main reason we decided to go to the soirée as DD has been Maleficent obsessed since the movie it would have been nice to have another minute and I would really have liked a family pic or at least a me pic with her. All in all, even with the few issues, we loved it and are glad we went!

I will say though that we are going to 2 parties. If we were not, I think as great as it was, we spent most of the night in the 2 areas and would have missed a lot. Fine if you go to the late party, but that was too late for us!
