villas?

I can also recomend Highgate Park which is 10 minutes from Disney. I can recommend orlandoexclusiveowners.com which you can book a villa from Highgate Park direct with the owner.

I have a company I use and trust and will continue to use them for their prices and reputation. if you're interested PM me and I'll share.

The big saving factor for us is, the low season runs from April 15th to June 15th. Most other companies are in the mid to high season rates at this time.

Also, I booked the home I chose. Nothing unseen or allocated on arrival and they are mostly high en in amenities.

I quite agree - This is so important as you never know what you may get when you accept an allocation on arrival. I always book direct with the owners whenever possible. I looked at booking my last trip through expedia but dismissed this as none of their villas appeared to be anything but allocation on arrival.

I can also highly recommend Highgate and OrlandoExclusiveVillas, who only deal with properties on this sub-division.

I have just returned from my last holiday which I booked direct with the owner through OrlandoExclusiveVillas as a last minute booking and I will shortly be looking to book my next with them. (Hopefully the same owner has availability again)

I have to agree that you would be better to rent from a private owner as you will build up that all important rapport with them and also know from the outset where the villa is you are renting.

There are many sub-divisions just off the 192 or US 27 within 5 - 20 minutes of Disney!! Some, like our homes, are on community resorts with free facilities.

Check Windsor Hills Resort!

www.windsorhillsrent.com

One of the newest, nicest, and closet resorts to Disney!

Area resorts:

Windsor Hills Resort has:
2 /3 bedroom condos
3 bed / 3 bathroom townhomes with splash pools
4 / 5 / 6 bedroom pool homes (single family homes / villas)

There are 1000 homes in the resort, which is a gated community with a great clubhouse and resort facilities.

I have also stayed in Highgate and have booked for this year again in Highgate. It is a gated community and has tennis courts and play area for small children. It is very nice and so are the villas. Highgate is 10 mins from Disney and good for nearby Wal-mart and Publix and 192.
