Hope you have a lot of time on your hands :rolleyes1: I spent hours searching those sites last week trying to find us the perfect villa :rotfl:

We're all booked now though and really excited for our trip so it was worth the effort :)

hello i spent a long time looking for a villa with a seperate toddler pool i found one called villa-escape in kissimmee it looks great but i have not been yet i go in 2007,it seems great if you have small kids, its got toys, strollers, and lots more its a 4bed villa worth a look :surfweb:

What we look for in a villa?

South facing pool - gets the sun all day
Fully fenced pool area - for total privacy
Carpet in the lounge - tiles can be a bit cold in my opinion
Ceiling Fans in all the rooms - just helps keep it at a nice temp. overnight
VCR/DVD in the lounge - keeps Josh happy with his videos ;)
TVs in the bedroom - as many TVs as possible!
age of home - preferably less than 5 years old
Management Company - should be on hand in case assistance is required

last but not least, Location - very important, for us should be in Kissimmee just off the 192 preferably at Indian Creek but either near Formosa Gardens or Poinciana Boulevard, means very close to all attractions/supermarkets and restaurants.

Try:

www.vr360homes.co.uk

Please PM me if you have any specific questions. :)

Finally there are so many to choose from, take your time before you book so you are sure you have made the right choice.

Johnny - ever stayed / know anyone that has stayed in the Doral Woods community?

Hi - I have never stayed there and do not know anyone who has I am afraid.

It is quite a way down Poinciana Boulevard and not as near to the 192 junction as many of the developments down there.

It could be a good 15 minutes or so to the 192, and consequently further away from the parks and the restaurants/supermarkets too.
I have checked a couple of websites out and there does seem to be a mixture of older and newer homes on there, though I suspect the majority are not that new - not necessarily a major problem, as most homes are well maintained.

Personally it wouldn't be my ideal choice as far as the location goes, but to be honest I have not heard any bad reviews about the development itself.
Sorry if this doesn't help.

Thanks - I'll let you all know how it is when i get back in october!

Our main reason for choosing it was the location TBH - i don't mind a slightly extended drive to the parks, and it's in the middle of a conservation corridor, a few mins from Horse World (DW rides a lot), and only a couple of miles from Disney's Wilderness Preserve, ideal for chilling out between parks!

Good Luck, many of the developments are quite close together on Poinciana, such as Eagle Pointe, Cumbrian Lakes etc but there is a gap after all these to Crescent Lakes and then Doral Woods.

Anyway I sure you will be fine. ;)

Think the most important thing is to work out which area you want... then should be fairly straightforward to narrow the search by number of bedrooms and/or budget.

Choice of area comes down to:
- Accesability from Disney (and anywhere else you want to go).
- Development facilities (some have communal pool, clubhouse etc)
- Age/look/feel of development
- Budget.

Here are some great sites to look at. There ae plendy that you can feed them the information and you can get as specific as you want. Than when you have a short list contact the owner or man/co and ask questions. Here is a map of the communities so you can have an idea of where the home will be located.
