Hi

Can anyone suggest any nice villa communities that have large commnuity pools as well as homes with private pools. Looking for within a 10min commute to Disney.

Have looked at Windsor Palms but they look slightly on the pricey side. This holiday is not just about doing the parks. Last year we did 3 weeks on the gulf but only went to the beach three times, so have decided to stick to Orlando in future where the choice of restaurants and shopping is better. Plus the bonus of being at Disney.

Thanks for any input.

regal palms have villas with pools and a community pool.

type in regal palms on your search engine for the actual official site. Hotel kingdom also have houses on their site. Don't know how much they are though.

We're staying in one without it's own pool.

I believe you can also stay on highlands reserve and use the facilities of regal palms

There are not that many that have community pools, Windsor Palms is one and I agree that it can be pricey staying there.
Having said that, the extra that you pay is probably to do with having a community pool so you may find that elsewhere too.

I know Terre Verde, which is on Poinciana Boulevard just off the 192, have a clubhouse/pool etc , I have driven past may times whilst staying at Cumbrian Lakes.

Yes Terra Verde has a community pool and private pool. If you are interested in this my friends own a place there, but it is a townhouse not a villa. PM me if you want any further details.

Lake Berkley, just off Poinciana Blvd has a community pool with spa and a clubhouse. It's a small, quiet gated community and one I would recommend.

We're staying at Doral Woods - again it's off Poinciana Blvd, a little further down though.... in the middle of a conservation corridor so lots of nature and trees and not much traffic!!!!!

All villas have private pools, plus there is a community pool and tennis court too IIRC!

Just to say have stayed at Windsor Palms and it was very nice.

Great location too

Have you looked at different owners on Windsor Palms ? there may be some difference in price.

We are staying in Indian Ridge Oaks this year. There is a community pool there

Have you thought about a townhouse instead of a villa. We have rented one on Windsor Hills and it has a private pool and a community pool. A bit cheaper than a villa.

Zara

I really like Windsor Hills but wanted a larger private pool and a bit more space. Love the resort though. Also Emerald Island and Regal Palms again though they seem to be townhouses or condo's

So Zara,

how do I go about finding an end townhome with a large private pool :cheer2:

You should re check your Emerald Island Resort search
They have dozens and dozens and dozens of lovely villas

But Emerald Island is gated like Windsor Palms, it seems the gated communities are a bit pricier than not gated.

We are staying at Weston Hills which is in Clermont just off Highway 27, it is a gated community with villas that have thier own pools and a community pool, tennis courts, playground. It is about 15 mins to Disney I think. ;)

The problem is I have expensive taste but not the budget. I am really trying to keep the cost under £600 per week. We had decided not to go abroad this year because we have spent a small fortune on holidays over the last three years. But it just got too much for me and the devil on my shoulder made me book the flights last friday. :confused3

My son swims for a club so it would be nice to get a resort size pool for him to swim in. The other thing I am looking for is a private!! pool. So many adds say the pools are not overlooked but they forget the side aspects. I like to sunbathe European style even if I don't like Europe for holidays.

Somehow Emerald Isle and Formosa Gardens seems to be a bit pricier.

visit floridadreamlets this villa has a private pool as well as a public pool on site, visit the website for more details :sunny: this villia is 10 mins away from disney. if you vistit the sight u can find out more information and see photos.

Our 5 bed villa is costing way under £1000 for two weeks and is within 15 minutes of Disney. PM me if you want the details :thumbsup2
