Villas at WL - a few questions!

We stayed at the WL for 8 days in 2000 and LOVED it. This year we are trying the villas through point rental. I have a few questions (couldn't find a VWL FAQ thread - is there one?)

1. What location to request? I think we just have "standard" view.... but what are the best options?

2. (at the great risk of asking a "pool hopping question"): I assume that we can use the WL main pool as VWL guests??

3. How far is the walk to the villas from the main lobby

What location to request?

We like to request pool view, upper floor. I think it is the best view at the VWL.

Yes you can. You can use any part of the facilities that someone staying in the WL section can use.

How far is the walk to the villas from the main lobby

It's really not that far. Actual distance I don't know. The best thing is if you are using Disney transportation, the Villas are actually closer.

It is a great resort. We have owned DVC points there for a few years.

VWL is closer to the Bus Stop whilst WL is closer to the Boat Launch - in either case it is not a massive large trek

You will love the VWL! That's our DVC home. As far as the distance from the villas to the WL lobby, it's a one-minute (covered) walk, lobby to lobby. HTH!
