Villas at the Grand Floridian Presale to Begin May 25th?

Is BLT at $160?

Yes. And BLT hit that number at/after sellout.

I'd guess VGF start around $140-$145. Maybe some deals to get it down lower.
But like BLT to the other resorts when it opened, VGF brings a higher per night point premium.

So, while you'll pay a little less per point, you'll need more points, which leads to more dues.

We love our BLT and will add on there over VGF. And, location of BLT helps us stay happy even when Poly comes online. Being able to walk to MK and to the MK bus stops is just too convenient.

If we buy VGF and somehow I think we will - it will for a parents get away place. If it comes in below BLT we will be sold

We aren't yet members...if VGF comes in at a good price, we're buying in there and will add-on at the Poly when that happens.

So tomorrow, 5/20 is our 13th wedding anniversary and we have been contemplating DVC since we went to WDW on our honeymoon. If the info comes out for current members tomorrow, would someone be willing to PM me about it? I know that the guide we're talking to will contact us as soon as he can, but it would just make such a great anniversary "gift" to finally know what we've been waiting so long for.

How will we find out? Email? Dvc news? Here?

Announcement in about an hour from now. Dont have price yet.

Model at Saratoga should be open later today or tomorrow. As an aside, I was told the studios will sleep 5 and have 2 showers.

Anyone know what the 1bd are like? From DVCNews floorplan, it looks like they will only have 1 bath instead of 2 like BLT/AKV.

Also, the GV floor plan has 4 bedrooms. Is that correct?

On Facebook DVC announced May 23rd as the sales date for members and June 19th as the sales date for non members. The video said on May 23rd more details will be available on the website!!

WooHoo! I'm so excited for this!!!

Apparently they are on sale now if you call your sales rep! $145 per point and annual dues $5.41.

Do you think the minimum point buy-in for current members will still be 25 points, same as with other resorts?

Points charts aren't out yet but it doesn't seem to matter to some because people are buying already.

Resort is scheduled to open on 10/23/13 but it isn't known yet if the resort will be completed in stages.

Wow, much higher dues than I was expecting and lower per-point price too.

DVD has had legal issues over setting dues artificially low so maybe they have changed the way that they are doing business.
