DVD has had legal issues over setting dues artificially low so maybe they have changed the way that they are doing business.

Given the (anticipated) number of points it will take to stay at VGF, the "reduced" buy-in rate of $145 doesn't feel enough to overcome the larger number of dues and the higher starting point for MF. Those MF are equivalent to resorts that have been open (Hawaii excluded) for 5+ years. I'm really surprised they're in the $5 range to start. But, fewer points to spread the costs over I suppose?

Maybe they'll see smaller increases.

Apparently they are on sale now if you call your sales rep! $145 per point and annual dues $5.41.

Have these numbers been confirmed?

Points charts aren't out yet but it doesn't seem to matter to some because people are buying already.

Resort is scheduled to open on 10/23/13 but it isn't known yet if the resort will be completed in stages.

There's no 4-bedroom villa on the points chart.

Sales to members begins this Thursday, 5/23 and to the general public on 6/19. Ken Potrock just sent out a Facebook video when he was standing in the model room for VGF.

Yep I see that too.

I guess what looked like a 4-bedroom on the floor plans, was just actually a 3 bed-room with a bonus room. Sounds like what looked to be the 4th bedroom will actually be a media room.

Yea, same for VGF SV versus BLT LV. Not a cheap stay - but also Disney's "Premiere" resort. So not surprised.

Just feels like too many points for me. Was hoping it woud be closer to BLT to help drip some of the popularity there.

Does anyone know how the member pricing in the past has compared to the pricing when it was released to the public? Can we expect to see the $145 pt for the June 19th release or do they typically change it?

Points just don't seem to go as far as they use too..... Very expensive, and you use a ton of points per stays... (Studio sleeps 5! though)

on quick glance doesn;t seem like the points are that much different then blt for one bed. Talk with guide and they are going to have fix week option

also. Just not sure of pricing right now on that

I guess I compared lake view to magic kingdom view which are not really comparable. So yes around ten percent more to stay
