Villa Owners Who Rent Out--A Question?

DH and I are looking at the possible purchase of a property that we will be renting much of the year (or have available for rent). It is not in Florida. Does anyone know of any message boards for owners of vacation rental properties that I could browse through to get some ideas of what we might be up against? I'm looking for the good, the bad, and the ugly, firsthand, preferably from people who own the type of place we are looking at purchasing.
