what is the max points some of you have gotten in a day??
I am home all day with DS (and night) lol do I have to watch the whole show after I check in? I dont want to check in and get asked questions after its over and have no idea the answer since I wasnt watching! lol
I am trying to see how many points people average a day..
Also, i checked into the view and then at 1030 I checked into the today show..the view is no longer showing a check mark but the Today show is...Am I still going to get full points for both?
Hi. You get 2 points per minute that you are "checked in" for a program. When the program ends, you stop getting points until / unless you check into another program at which time you'll get 2 points per minute for the new program. You do not have to watch the program after you check-in. Many people "check in" to a program and then go about their day, coming back every hour or so to "check in" to another program.
In the evenings, some programs have bonus points that you get in addition to the 2 points per minute that you're checked in. For these, you must be checked in for a minimum of 10 minutes (most people are now waiting a full 11 minutes to be certain) to be able to get the bonus points. There are usually 2 - 3 programs per prime-time-hour that offer bonus points, so to get the most of these, check in to one (I always check into the one with the most possible bonus points so in case I get distracted and don't get back, I won't lose as much opportunity to earn), then after 11 minutes, check into another bonus program.
If you're going to be gone all day, find a program in the morning that lasts a few hours and check into that before you leave - then you'll earn those points until you get home.
There are also the ads that you can watch for points, but you don't always get points for these.
Some programs have interactive things like the basketball game the other day offered trivia questions and predictions (like will he make the free throw?) that obviously you have to be watching and attentive to your device to be able to participate.
You could make this a full-time effort to get the maximum 12K points each day but the way I see it is that I'll do it when I'm home and watching tv, set things up for longer programs when I can't, and not worry about it - anything I can "earn" for something I was pretty much doing anyway is great.
You can cash in for up to $550 per year - I'm "saving" for an iPad 3 so I'm going to be going for the
