Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

I cashed in points today for (2) $25 Bet Buy gift cards which I promptly turned into a $50 Amazon card. My DH couldn't believe it! He asked if he could do it as well :rotfl:

Ads are an absolute must if you are looking to max out on points each day. Plus as I mentioned before, I check into a long running program in the morning so I don't have to worry about a check-in for 5+ hours :thumbsup2

Duplicate post, sorry

Are you guys going to the store to buy the kindle cards? I don't see them on their website??

Wow..lots of drama on SD tonight about this ap :lmao: They are not very happy that Viggle is gaining in popularity. Doesn't bother me honestly. It's just a fun way for me to earn gift cards to use towards my Christmas shopping this year.

WOW this is addicting - just started yesterday - i have about 5000 pts!

I also got my son into it and he does it on his ipod touch!

I think while lots are using it now - it will dye down...

Can I consolidate my $25 BB cards? Can I take 2 $25 cards to store and get 1 $50? I may be saving for an ipad.

Hello! Do you mean the egift cards? If so, yes for sure. Just grab a $50 plastic BestBuy gift card and pay using your egift cards - no problem at all. :thumbsup2 If you mean taking your plastic BestBuy gift cards and combining them into one $50, I'm pretty sure you can but you might have to do at Customer Service?

Thanks for the tip! I signed up and already got 1500 pts. i'm sure once I show my kids, they will use it a lot and get many more points

I know! Their Viggle thread is very interesting to say the least. I think they are unhappy because they aren't able to "ad slam" into the late hours of the night anymore. For the past several weeks Viggle had 75 to 100 point ads starting at midnight eastern time. Well, the SD Viggler's noticed those ads drying up, and they are really mad!

Hey, they can do what I do....hit 15 & 30 point ads all day. :faint: Since I live on the east coast, it's impossible for me to stay up until midnight to see those 100 point ads. :sad1:

Ads have been slim for me on the featured programs today but I went back in my history. I pulled up my check-in for the Final Four and I have been getting a constant stream of the Capital One ads. There have even been a few Wiz ads in there as well :thumbsup2

More traffic to Viggle in the end is a very good thing. It will bring more advertisers to the app which will increase ads for all. While we may not be able to get a couple thousand points off of Bing ads all at once, I really think it will make the earning opportunities greater in the end!

Agreed! That's why I don't understand the SD group. They are selfish and want all the ads to themselves, and they act like more people joining Viggle is a bad thing. (Probably because they won't get thousands of ads at once!) In my opinion some SD people are missing the point of the app in general.

I'm glad Viggle is catching on and more people are discovering the app. This means the company is off to a good start, and will hopefully be around for years to come!

I never read any of the SD viggle thread till last night...They seem really nasty over there from the few pages I read and like a high school click. No new people are allowed to join their thread and ask questions or they freak...yikes...I'm glad our thread hasn't turned down that road, everyone's welcome to ask any questions here

If you do not mind what is the SD Thread?

I joined a few days ago, thanks for the tips everyone! had fun with the final four trivia last night, racked up a lot of points from that. there should 1 big post with direction/tips, this thread is so long! correct me if im wrong this is how to get the most points:

1. Check into featured programs for more points (otherwise programs are 2 points per min)
2. If not able to check in often choose cnn or other programs that are on for several hours
3. You are only able to be checked in for 12 hours a day
4. Always click on ads (limit 2 of the same ads for points per day???) this I dont know about, seem to always see the same ads posted
5. Trivia is featured on certain programs, get points for answering , and more points for correct answers.

did i miss anything, i skimmed a lot of the info??? should i know any other tips? thanks op, I cant wait to start cashing :)

Ads for points....this is the most unclear topic about Viggle. They told me back in February that you can watch ads as often as you'd like...but Viggle would only give you points for the first 2 hits. This indicates to me that Viggle is/or should be monitoring this, not us.

Based on that, I hit ads and don't keep track...

Think of it this way:

Daily limit 12,000 points

12 hour check-ins at 2 points per minute: 1,440 points
Feature Bonus check-in total: 2,000 points (give or take, depends on how many featured shows there are, and whether any of them are doing Live Event, (American Idol). This example I'll use 2,000 points.

Total: 3,440 points

Anyone even totaling 5,000 or 6,000 points per day is hitting ads more than twice. I've never had any problems doing it, but as I always say, do it at your own risk!

thanks for the suggestions! do you hit all of the featured shows in a day, many are on at the same time, do you check into one and then move on to another in order to get the 2,000 points??? thanks for the advice!

Yea, the only way to get all the points for Featured shows is to check into all of them. It can be quite a challenge on nights that have tons of shows!

You only need to be checked in to a featured show for 10 minutes to get the bonus points. So do one show for 10 minutes, check into the next, etc.

Make sure you're checked in for the FULL 10 minutes....there were a few shows I didn't get bonus points for. So I round up to 11 minutes now...
