Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

I'm getting lots of BK ads this morning for either 25 or 50 points and I am afraid to click on them. I am a little under 8,000 points for another BB $25 gift card and I do not want to get banned. Anyone else having trouble with getting banned from BK ads lately. I would love to click on some of these to get closer to my goal but am afraid.

I think the problem was with a specific BK ad that you had to scroll through and then be awarded 10pts. The problem was that people were just swiping through and accumulating 1000's of points. According to Viggle the ad was removed.

Sometimes I think Viggle is testing us when there are tons of ads out there! It's all about moderation. I've hit that 25 point BK ad 10 times in a row. Never been flagged or banned.

The people who got banned regarding that 10 point BK ad were hitting it hundreds of times in a row! Some were accumulating about 3,000 points off that ad....that equals 50% of the daily limit. Of course that would flag.

For anyone really concerned, just hit it once or twice. That would not flag at all.

Thanks everyone, I'll give a few of them a try and let you know if I get banned when I try to cash out for BB GC. Now lets hope the BB GC stay around for a few days so I can get one.

I agree. Also, the click through BK ad got people banned because they accumulated points too quickly, like in a flash. If you watch the new ad in its entirety, you should be fine. It's something Viggle did to prevent people from skipping ads. I never seem to get more than ten ads in a row anyway. I think possibly ads phase out as you use the app longer. I'm at 3 months now.

I'm hoping BB gift cards will stay around a lot longer than that! Since Viggle doesn't seem to be bringing back Sephora, my DH and I decided to save for BB cards....I want to buy a camera for our upcoming trip.

Both DH and I have Viggle accounts. In about 7 days we'll be ready to cash out $50 in Best Buy cards! Hope that reward sticks around!

By the way, I don't know how many people here were cashing out for Sephora cards, but this is the longest they have been out of stock. And with the addition of new rewards, it seems that Sephora cards aren't coming back. Maybe I'm just not being patient enough, who knows. But I've been getting the run around with Viggle every time I ask about Sephora....

Nope, I've been able to check into shows for me and DH's account. Are you checking into stuff that's on tv, or shows that you've recorded? I only ask because there are times when I'm trying to check into recorded shows, and nothing will register. Then I'll wait a few hours, try again, and then all the sudden it works.

I was doing both...and was able to do it on my iphone but dh was having problems with his ipad but it is fixed now...strange how it works..

Ok, I just signed up with viggle a few minutes ago. Do I need to keep the app open the entire time the show is on in order to get the points or does it automatically here it or what? I downloaded it onto my DD's ipod and it does go into sleep mode when not in use does that hinder anything?

I am still having problems with my app crashing everytime I come across an ad..if I uninstall it and reinstall it, will I lose all of my points so far? I've gotten a good start and I'd prefer not to cash them in yet.

No, once you check into the show, it assumes that you watch the show until the end or until you check into a different show.

No, you won't lose anything. I've had to uninstall and reinstall many times!

ETA: Prior to doing that, the first thing I do is a "hard reset." Turn off your device all the way, turn back on and open Viggle.

I agree, the hard reset is helpful sometimes. I've never had to uninstall viggle, the hard reset usually does the trick. You just hold down the sleep and home buttons together until the screen goes dark and the apple appears on the screen.

I was getting them too...plus a couple 75 pointers and a 100 one...but I had to stop because I didn't want to get banned for doing too many. It makes me nervous a little since dh had trouble.

At least I got some.

I am showing Sephora in rewards today, for 14,000. My friend was not. She did a hard reset and it showed up

I am new to viggle, I am doing the beta version for Android .

So, how do you browse? I want to make sure I am maximizing the points I can get for ads? Any advice for a newbie is most welcome.
