Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

Just an FYI I did come accross the dreaded BK ad again yesterday so it is still out there. I just skipped it altogther this time around. I don't want to go through that again.

Even if I were to come across that BK ad, I don't think I would hit it more than once. Even though Viggle was nice and reinstated some of the banned accounts, that doesn't mean they will continue to do so.

That BK ad is certainly a "do at your own risk."

I swiped through quite a few of those BK ads while making dinner the other day. Just reading the last few pages, got me worried. I tried to redeem for a 7,500 reward, but now I discover I've also been banned. sigh. Error 2045. At least it is only 10,000 points. I'm going to email customer service and see where it gets me. I'm not holding my breath, though. I've already discovered customer service is very lacking with Viggle.

The reason the BK ad got people banned is because it accumulated points too quickly. I saw a YouTube video where some guy put a pencil over his iPad and it stopped the ads from running, yet still credited the points. Never did it myself and don't really understand how it works, but now Viggle bans accounts that earn too fast. Instead, I suffered through 5 point Battleship ads while walking at the gym. (yes, I viggle while exercising, lol. Beats just walking in circles pushing a stroller.)
 
I'm sure this has been answered before buy I can't remember... How many foot locker certificates can I stack in store or online? I need new sneakers and figure why not use Viggle to get them? ;)

I message on Footlocker today with a customer service person and they told me as far as in the store you would need to call a store which I did and the girl told me as many as I wanted..she said "a gift card is a gift card"..and I also asked the CSP on Footlocker.com how many I could use online and she said 3..
 
A few months ago I read that Viggle tends to keep an eye on accounts that flagged. So for anyone whose account was reinstated....just an FYI. :thumbsup2 I have a feeling that an account that gets that error a second time would probably be banned for good.

For some reason, as I scroll through the Featured Shows to find the ads, I get a spinning circle in place of the ads (like the page is loading). I've given it a couple of minutes for it to load but it just keeps spinning. I have the Android version..is this just because it's a Beta and the kinks still are being worked out? Right now, I am getting no ads whatsoever.

hummmmm .... Thanks for the idea .... IF I get my account back, I'll get out of Dodge and then think about opening a different account under a different email.

My answer from Viggle customer service:


Hello,

I am sorry but due to your activity with one of the advertisements, your account was flagged by our system as suspicious. A ban was placed on your account to prevent you from redeeming rewards and you stopped getting points.

Your account has been restored and you can redeem now.

The advertisement which caused this problem has been removed from our app, and you will not encounter this problem again.

Soooo, I just tried and checked out for a 7,500 reward. Pfew. But I think I'm going to get my account down to zero and quit. Maybe open another account later, idk.

Update: I sent a tweet to @vigglesupport and within minutes my account was restored, points and all! That was easier than expected!
 
I just opened my account two days ago and am worried after reading about the problems with the bk ads. Which ad is it? I have only clicked on one, and only once. The steven tyler ad? I have seen a different one since then but have stayed away!
Also...
Sorry, I am sure someone has answered this but how many best buy cards can you use at one time? I checked online and did not see a limit. I also asked at my local store but the cashier was unsure herself.
 
how many points do you get for a 2.5 hour movie . i was watching ghostbusters earlier and only got 141 . i am still trying to figure this whole thing out
