Hi all. What’s the best way to view a room at the poly? Do they have demo rooms you can tour like boardwalk has? Do you need a guide to set this up? We’d like to explore the property on our next visit and check out the rooms.

Just stand in the tower lobby with your traveling party. Let a three second pause enter your conversation. One of five nearby DVC onsite guides will fill that pause with, "Who here wants to stay magical year after year?" A few minutes later they'll walk you up to a model room.

Let me add to that. Last spring, when I was staying in the tower, I had this conversation.

DVC Guide: Where are you staying?

Me: Here in the Tower.

DVC Guide: Do you want to tour one of our model rooms?

Me: Wouldn't it be just like the room I'm staying in.

DVC Guide, confused: Yeah, probably.

--so yeah, just walk into the lobby, and you should be able to see a model room. My guess: there's clearly a target number of tours they're expected to give each day.

Most of the DVC resorts have model rooms, but you need to go with a DVC guide. They will give you a tour and a brief sales presentation, no pressure. You may need to make reservations to do so.

Omg. That’s so funny.

They do open houses for current members 12:30-1:30 (those were the times previously I think they are still the same)

Can we be shown all the different room types?

If a guide asked us about touring one of their model rooms, I’d ask to see 1st floor TPV 😂

Too bad, thats reserved for a DVC member who requested a high floor.

The only ones they weren't willing to show me were the penthouses because of the limited inventory

It was a 1 bed and studio. It may have been the 2 bed lock off. I wanted to view the bungalows so for that I had to meet with a guide separate from the tour.
