Viewing Fireworks from Polynesian

What is the current status of the ability to watch Wishes from the beach at the Polynesian if you're not staying there? We have a Kona Café dinner reservation but are not staying at the Poly. Sounds like the pool is now a bit more secure, but have they started allowing non-Poly-guests back out on the beach to watch Wishes...or do the bungalows block any decent view now anyway? Haven't been out there since the bungalows were put up. Thanks -

I'm curious about this as well. There is a thread where people get very upset if non-poly guests use the pool. But from what I can see you can get to the beach without going through the gated area. And...people have said you can still see the fireworks. I just wonder how poly people feel about beach crashers! LOL!

From what I've read on other threads, you can still watch from Poly beach, but I see more people recommending TTC as better viewpoint now.
