Viewing Christmas parade in Frontierland?

My wife is taking her niece and three kids to the Very Merry Christmas party in November and they want to watch the parade. Since my wife and I are not "parade savvy" we were wondering if the parade route along Frontierland has areas to sit during the parade like the curbs on Main Street? The kids are 7, 9 and nine months. This is their first ever trip and are very excited! Any help would be appreciated.

There are no curbs if I remember correctly but you can sit on the porches and have a good view of the parade.. they do rope off areas on the walkways to sit as well
