View request- should I ask for a change?

We will be renting a studio unit at the BCV's this April. When our DCV member put in our request (at about 11 mo.) we had asked for NS, 3rd fl or higher, Epcot view thinking it would be the best thing. ( I had not done much research at that time). After doing a search and going back quite a ways on this board, now I am thinking that a BC Courtyard/ Epcot view would have been a better choice. Between looking at Doc's wonderful layout and reading reports, I am concerned about the parking lot issues. I may be asking for my cake and trying to eat it, too, but am I wrong in thinking that you can get views of Epcot and not worry about the sight of a road/ parking lot if I changed and kept the same 3rd fl and higher, NS but went for this other view? I may be fretting over nothing, as 1. we have already requested the room and it is done with or 2. the Epcot views up that high negate the parking lot issue. Thanks for any help you can render!

That road only concerned me when I got a room on the first floor. That pavement seemed awfully close and I worried about my children (8 and 4). If we had been higher up I would have stayed put. A few people have posted here and loved the "side" of the building that faced Epcot. I did immediately ask to be moved and wound up in Studio #412 (nonsmoking) with a great view of the quiet pool. It was also close to the laundry room which is on floor #4. In any case, posts here have indicated that noise from that road is minimal. If you are above the first floor I think you'll be fine.

The parking lot is visible from the rooms way at the end of the building -- the 70's. I don't think you see it from the "back" of the building which faces Epcot. The layout is a bit confusing -- the darned building has some wings -- but I think an "Epcot view" may preclude a "parking lot" view. Incidentally, next time we go I may request "near the parking lot." We lugged groceries one afternoon and near collapsed! The rooms down near the self-park lot are convenient if you keep your own vehicle.
