VGF vs Four seasons

Looking for opinions. Surprise 20th anniversary celebration. Looking to do a couples massage and dinner. Right now I have a reservation at Narcooses - wait listed for Victoria and Alberts. Which place for a couple - no kids along?

Four Seasons. We love Capa and the service throughout the resort is impeccable. I love GF but would not want VGF. We like room service, valet and the other services too much to stay in a condo style. I would have a harder choice between GF RPC and Four Seasons but with Four Season being much less expensive I would go with it.

While I like the Royal Palm Club a lot, you can get Club Level at the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge or Yacht & Beach Club for a more reasonable rate, if that is an issue.

We don't care for the CL at the other deluxe resorts . The service and atmosphere are not nearly as nice as RPC. For a more budget minded trip we now choose Four Seasons but it is hard as I stayed at the GF with my parents, many years ago and we have kept the tradition alive for our family. We don't even care for Sugarloaf at GF, the atmosphere and service are not the same as RPC.

We used to like The King Kamehameha Club but over the years it seemed to fall even farther than the other CL' s and the lounge is so small with limited service. We did not like having to leave the Tonga building to go to Hawaii for evening service.

I LOOOOOVE the Four seasons. I am a total groupie of that hotel. The service is amazing and the property is lovely. Food is pricey though. But I love good service!

Well if you're eating twice at GF restaurants, and the spa treatment would be right across the street from VGF, then VGF makes sense just for the convenience of what you're doing. If you were willing to change the restaurants over to the ones at Four Seasons and so on, then it's a real choice. Also would the convenience of the monorail come into play here, are you going into the theme parks or just staying at the hotel.
